Ten years ago we asked Heriots to cater for a 50th wedding anniversary party, so when it came to deciding on caterers for my in-laws 60th wedding anniversary party, they were top of our list. This time we decided to hold afternoon tea - the marquee was suitably decorated with balloons and pictures of the happy couple. Bone china supplied by a local charity shop was a fantastic back drop to the delicious food. Finger sandwiches were a perfect start and with a choice of five flavours, all tastebuds were catered for.
